TOUR ITINERARY:
Day 1 Arrive in Lhasa(-/-/-)
The guide will meet you at Konggar Airport, and transfer
you to Lhasa city with about 1 1/2 hour drive (100km).
After arrive in Lhasa, you will check in hotel. Afternoon
is free for you to get used to the altitude.
Accommodation: Lhasa Hotel or similar.
Day 2 Lhasa (B/L/-)
The first day of sightseeing starts from Lhasa's cardinal
landmark - Potala Palace, a structure
of massive portions. It takes at least a good 2-hour
to visit those rooms, halls and chapels. Have Chinese
Lunch at Tibet Steak House. Some 2km
to the east of the Potala is the most revered religious
structure in Tibet - Jokhang Temple.
The quadrangle of streets surround the Jokhang is the
Barkhor - Lhasa's most interesting
pilgrimage circuit. This area of the Old Town is both
the spiritual heart of Lhasa and the main commercial
district for Tibetans.

Day 3 Lhasa(B/L/-)
This day's sightseeing begins with the Drepung
Monastery, one of Lhasa's two great Gelugpa
monasteries, located about 8km west of central Lhasa.
It was once world's largest monastery with about 10,000
monks. Then you will visit Norbulingka
and Sera Monastery, the other
Gelupa monastery. It is more serene surrounded by many
small temples. The "Buddhism Scriptures Debating" in
Sera is very famous. Norbulingka means "Jeweled Garden".
It was constructed as a summer palace for the Dalai
Lama and later served the whole governmental administration.

Day 4 Lhasa - Tsetang/Zedang (B/L/-)
After breakfast in the hotel and go to visit
Yumbulagang Palace. Tibet's first palace.
It's a worthwhile visit for those Tibetan history fans.
The palace was built for the 1st Tubo King Niechi in
the Yalong River Valley. It is also called "the Mosher
and Song Holy Hall". It perches on the summit of the
Jormo Zhaxi Ceri Mountain on the east bank of the Yarlung
River, about five kilometers in the south from the Tradrug
County. After lunch at local restaurant, go on the trip
to Trandruk Monastery: Built in the
7th century, the Trandruk Monastery is situated at the
east bank of the Yalong River in the south of the Shannan
District in Tibet. It is about 5km to the south of Tsetang
city, just on the main road to Luotsa County (a border
county in the south of Tibet, sharing border with India.)Trandruk
Monastery lies on the southern side Mt. Gangpo Ri, on
the east bank of the Yarlung River, about 2 kilometers
south of Tradrug. You must see the most precious treasure
in the monastery -- a pearl Thangka (Thangka is a kind
of paintings illustrating Tibetan Buddhism and Tibetan
arts This pearl Thangka is brought here by Princess
Wencheng)

Day 5 Depart Tsetang/Zedang (B/-/-)
After breakfast at your hotel,visit Mingdroling Monastery and then leave Tsetang.
