I would say the honeymoon was excellent and your guides were superb. We really enjoyed Ellen in Beijing and Michael in Xian was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Day 1 Arrival in Beijing (Meals: -/-/-)
Our guide will meet you outside the baggage claim area at Beijing Airport and transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day is on your own to explore the city.
Day 2 Beijing (Meals: B/L/SD)
Visit the Mutianyu Great Wall and the Sacred Way which means the road leading to heaven,the Ming Tomb of Changling, the largest one where emperor Yongle was buried in the afternoon. The Beijing Duck Dinner is served at a famous restaurant, followed by a lively Peking Opera performance at the Liyuan Theatre.

Day 3 Beijing - Datong by soft sleeper train (Meals: B/L/-)
Visit the Tiananmen Square, the symbolical heart of China and gathering place for the masses. It is the biggest public square in the world, the Forbidden City as the Palace Museum, the Chinese imperial palace from the middle of Ming Dynasty to the end of the Qing Dynasty and the Temple of Heaven which is the place where the emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasty worshiped heaven and prayed for peace and harvest. Transfer you to the Beijing train station.Take soft sleeper train to Datong in the night. Dinner will be by yourself on the train.

Day 4 Datong (Meals: B/L/D)
Breakfast at the local restaurant or KFC or McDonalds near the arrival train station. Excursion to Yungang Caves, which gather one of the most remarkable examples of Buddhist sculptures in China. Visit the Upper and Lower Monasteries, founded in the 12th century, and the Huayan Monastery, built in the 10th century. It comprises the biggest Buddhist shrine-hall in China. Stroll around the old town where you will discover the Nine-Dragon Screen, made of glazed tiles. Lunch and dinner at local restaurants.

Day 5 Datong-Wutaishan Mountain by car (Meals: B/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel. Departure by road to Wutaishan - one of the sacred Buddhist mountains. This journey will enable you to see some of the most fascinating habitats in Northern China: cave dwellings dug into yellow earth cliffs. On the way, stop at Xuankong Temple, which incredibly hangs from sheer cliffs over a canyon. Arrive in Taihuai, at the foot of Wutaishan. Lunch on the way and dinner at local restaurant.

Day 6 Wutaishan (Meals: B/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel. Visit some of the most beautiful monasteries and shrines built on the mountain over the centuries. They are devoted to the cult of Wenshu, the Bodhisatva of wisdom. Each one has its own specific features: Nanchan temple with its stunning wooden structure and seventeen painted figurines; Foguang Temple, known as the light of Asian Buddhism; and Xiantong Temple, the most ancient one. Lunch and dinner at local restaurants.

Day 7 Wutaishan-Pingyao by car (Meals: B/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel. Drive to a beautiful road on the plateau of Shanxi province towards Pingyao (350 km). This city, inscribed by UNESCO on the list of World Heritage monuments, is one of the few cities in China to have maintained its city walls. The old town is completely intact and the traveler is taken back to ancient times of the Middle Kingdom. On the way, stop at the Qiao Family Residence, a walled mansion with five courtyards constructed by a rich merchant. It now hosts an interesting folk museum. Lunch on the way and dinner at local restaurant.

Day8 Pingyao (Meals: B/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel. Start the day with the visit of the Pingyao Old City Town, wander about the streets, filled with charming atmosphere. You will be taken to see the wonderful architecture, such as Ri Sheng Chang Old Bank, Ming and Qing Street. Lunch and dinner at local restaurants.

Day 9 Pingyao-Xian by soft sleeper train (Meals: B/-/-)
Breakfast at hotel. Full day is on your own to explore the old city. Then transfer you to the Pingyao train station.Take soft sleeper train to Xian in the night.

Day 10 Xian (Meals: B/L/SD)
Our guide will pick you up at the railway station at morning and transfer to your hotel. Breakfast at the local restaurant or KFC or McDonalds near the arrival train station. Visit the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum,the most significant archaeological excavations of the 20th century. It has been regarded as THE 8TH WONDER OF THE WORLD! . In the afternoon, visit the Great Mosque,is one of the oldest, largest and best-preserved Islamic mosques in China, the Muslim Street,Muslim Street is the hub of the Moslem community in Xian City. After visit Muslim street, you will have a tour which is tour to Gao Yue Song’s ancient style Folk House, formerly high rank official during the Ming Dynasty some 300 years ago. This house won UNESCO Prize for Cultural Heritage Protection in Asian-Pacific Area in 2002 and you will be delighted to see a dying art: Shadow Play Opera which played by farmers. Dinner enjoy famous Dumpling Banquet.

Day 11 Xian-Luoyang by Bullet Train (Meals: B/L/-)
Visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, which situated at south of the Xian city, as one of the main constructions in the famous Buddhist temple-Da-Ci-En Temple, the pagoda is one of the most distinctive and outstanding landmarks for Xian City. The City Wall,It is the most complete city wall survived in China as well as one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world, Shaanxi Provincial Museum, which is the largest comprehensive museum in the province. Transfer you to the railway station and board the bullet train to Luoyang (around 2.5 hours). You will be welcomed by guide on arrival in the evening. Dinner will be by yourself on the train. Transfer to your hotel for accommodation. Overnight at Hotel.
Day12 Luoyang-Zhengzhou by car (Meals: B/L/D)
Breakfast at hotel. Morning depart to the Longmen Caves on the outskirts of Luoyang. The site, one of three famous art grottoes in China, consists of a succession of small niches, the most ancient of which dates back to the North Wei dynasty. This is a fascinating outdoor museum of Buddhist sculptural art. On the way to Zhengzhou, stop in Gongyi to visit the Spectacular Fortress Mansion of a rich 19th-century merchant nicknamed Kang the Millionaire. Dinner before Check into your hotel in Zhengzhou.

Day 13 Zhengzhou → Nanjing by bullet train (Meals: B/L/-)
Breakfast at hotel. Morning depart to the Shaolin Temple, and then transfer to Zhengzhou train station for bullet train D288 (First Class Seat 15:09/20:16, 5 hours) to Nanjing. Arrival Nanjing and transfer to your hotel. Dinner will be by yourself on the train.

Day 14 Nanjing (Meals: B/L/D)
Visit Dr. Sun Yatsen's Mausoleum the father of the Republic of China. After lunch visit Confucius Temple (Fuzimiao) The area around the temple consists of a series of tourist shops, snack bars, restaurants and tea cafes. You will have a optional tour which is tour to take boat tour along the femurs Qinhuai River.

Day 15 Nanjing- Suzhou by High Speed Train (Meals: B/L/D)
Morning transfer to train station for High Speed Train to Suzhou, also known as the Venice of the East. Visit famous mandarin classical gardens in Suzhou such as Humble Administrator's Garden, then go on to Tiger Hill and a visit the second Leaning Pagoda of the world. Lunch and dinner at local restaurants.

Day 16 Suzhou- Hangzhou by High Speed Train (Meals: B/L/D)
Morning transfer to train station for High Speed Train to Hangzhou. Upon arrival meet your guide and then walk around West Lake (Ripping water shimmering on sunny day, misty mountains shrouded the rain, plain or gaily decked out like Xizi, West Lake is always alluring. The West Lake is undoubtedly the most renowned feature of Hangzhou, famous for the beautiful scenic that blends with many famous historical and cultural sites. Day 17 Hangzhou- Shanghai by High Speed Train (Meals: B/L/-)
Today continue to visit Lingyin Sanctuary (It is roughing translated as either Temple of Inspired Seclusion or Temple of the Soul’s Retreat and is really Huangzhou’s main attraction. It is not only a leading centre for researching Chinese Buddhist culture but also an important collection of Buddhist literature together with many other treasures. It is nice for people who wish to study aspects of Chinese Buddhism in detail.)and Liu He Ta, or Six Harmonies Pagoda, with its graceful architecture, built on a small hill overlooking the Qiantang River .

In addition, approximately a hundred traditional stores and specialty shops still provide choice silk goods, jade, embroidery, wool, and clocks.). Then visit the Mandarin Yu garden (Yuyuan Garden, a place of peace and comfort in the heart of bustling Shanghai, dates back to the fabled Ming Dynasty. Now a popular tourist destination, Yuyuan began as a private garden created by Pan Yunduan, who spent almost 20 years - and all of his savings - to build a garden in order to please his parents in their old age. That is why he called this garden "Yuyuan" - because "yu" in Chinese means "peace and health".). Follow with visit Jade Buddha Temple (the most important worship place in the city ,It was built between 1911 and 1918, housing 70 resident monks. Its exterior is easily identifiable by its bright saffron walls. Inside, the centerpiece is a two-meter-high white jade sitting Buddha encrusted with jewels. It is said the statue weighs 1,000kg. The sitting Buddha was installed in the temple when it was brought by monks from Burma to Zhejiang Province in 1882.
