TOUR ITINERARY:
Destination: Jinan, China
Activities: A full day excursion to Sacred Mount Tai and Dai Temple.
Meals: Chinese Lunch
Duration of tour: 8 hours (09:00 AM- 17:00 PM)
Includes: Private transportation by minibus and cable car, visit and guided tour of Mount Tai and the Dai Temple. Lunch at a local restaurant in Tai'an. Lunch is served with 5-8 dishes (depending on pax number), rice and 1 glass of soft drink per person.
The Tour: This tour commences by minibus with an hour and a half drive from Jinan to Tai'an City, which lies at the foot of Mt.Tai. You will take a minibus halfway up the mountain and then go in a cable car, up the sacred mountain. Mount Tai was regarded as the first of the five sacred mountains in ancient China for its majesty and beauty. The whole of Mount Tai is like a vast open-air museum of history, having on display much of its oriental civilization. You will come down by cable car and have lunch at a local restaurant in Ta'an City. Then follows a visit to the Dai Temple located to the north of Tai'an City.This used to be the venue where emperors of the past dynasties held celebrations to worship heaven and earth and bestowed sacrifices to the god of the mountain. The tour will end with your return journey to Jinan City.
