1. For Both sides: 
These terms govern all China train tickets booked with www.ChinaTrainTickets.Net, as CTT. All correspondence should be addressed to You accept these booking terms on behalf of all members of your party.

2. For Settle Booking and Confirmation and Issue Number: 
Any Train tickets booking made or ordered by you shall be deemed to be an offer by you to purchase the relevant tickets subject to these booking conditions. No contract between you and CTT shall come into existence until CTT issues a formal final confirmation by email that they have issued the tickets you asked. For the clients who will collect the tickets at train station or ticket offices by themselves, we will send the ISSUE NUMBER to you in your final confirmation letter, it's very important for you to use it to get your ticket printed out at train stations or tickets offices. Payment in full is required at the time of making your train tickets reservation through CTT website. We accept PayPal and West Union for online Payment.

3. For Reserve Ticket and Prepayment:
The reservation will be settled formally when the full prepayment is received, and the full payment is refundable if we can’t get the tickets in the end. If we manually send PayPal prepayment request email to you, but you don't pay for it, after 24 hours - the reservation will be automatically cancelled without further notice. After you made the full payment, we will send you the final confirmation letter after china train tickets issuing date, (4 -1 day ago usually in some Chinese travel peak date, like Spring Festival, Labor Day, National Day etc.)

4. For International Train Tickets:
Full payment should be paid to settle the reservation as the International train tickets can not get any refund if you cancel it after issued. including: Beijing to Ulan Bator, Beijing to Moscow, Beijing (Nanning) to Hanoi, Beijing ( Shanghai ) to Hong Kong. etc. The passengers’ information will be showed on the ticket, so please provide all the passengers full names, nationalities and passport numbers (copies) which are necessary to book tickets. If there is some further requirement, we will email the details to you.

5. For Train Tickets Face Price:
Face price means the price you see on the train tickets. It's not the same with our selling price. Our selling price is from our own data base and due to China train authority don't provide any data base import so we make the program by ourselves and the the price is not 100% accurate with the face price when you get it, most train tickets price is correct, like G, D, C trains, seldom it may higher from RMB 1 - 20 or less from RMB 1 - 20. if you want refund the difference with your face price after you get the tickets, please email us and we will give the differences back to you. thanks for your kindly understanding. We will try to make our program more accurate in future.

6. For CTT Selling Price : 
CTT selling price is based on the products you selected. If you select take the issued train tickets by yourself at train station or tickets selling offices on the street, you only need to pay for the ticket face price and service charge from CTT, which is USD 10/per ticket from our  member center, register our member first. If you want we delivery the ticket to your hotel address ( or specified private address ) in China, the cost is ticket price plus service charge and Delivery cost together which is USD 15/per ticket. If you want us delivery to your home ( abroad of China ), it is ticket price + service charge and international delivery cost, total USD 100/per time for international delivery by DHL or TNT, FedEx etc. If you don't register our membership, the service charge is higher than above, it's USD17, USD23, USD100. we strongly suggest you buy tickets from member center since it is not only cheap but also convenient, especially for multi trips.

7 For How to Get the Tickets: 
There are three options concerning getting your issued tickets. When making the reservation on our website you can choose 
1, Get the train tickets at train station or ticket office on the street by yourself. At train station, free of charge, at Ticket offices, RMB 5/per ticket for service charge there.
2, Delivery the tickets to your China hotel or private China address.
3, Delivery the tickets to your home ( Outside of China ) international express delivery service if you ask CTT to deliver your tickets to your country, you should accordingly choose this service item. USD 50/per time. If you ask CTT delivery the tickets to abroad, you totally understood the risk of delays of international express delivered mails, if it delayed by them, it's not our responsibility and you can not ask our refund. Usually it will take 7 days to reach you. ( US, Europe, Hong Kong ) other area may longer.

Besides these three basic options there are some other travel products for you to choose: 
1, 1,000,000 RMB commercial China train accident insurance: USD 26/per person, or RMB 155/per person.
2, Porter and luggage service: USD 30/per person or RMB 217/per person.
including CTT assistant meet you at the plat form and transfer two regular size suite cases from plat form to taxi parking lot or your paking car, Extra luggages will be charged USD 2.4 or RMB 15/per suite case.
3, Train station to down town private transfer service: USD 41/per person single trip.
including CTT sent out our English Speaking Assistant meet you at plat form and transfer you by private car (only for you and your families) to your hotel within downtown area. ( Not including luggage and porter services. )
4, Train tickets issue number Mobile Message Reminder Service: USD 3/per ticket or RMB 18.6/per ticket. 
We will send you a mobile message with your issue number in it and this will be very convenient for you to get the ticket from the train station or ticket office show the clerk the tickets issue number in your mobile. You don't need to print out our final confirmation and take it by you.

8. For PayPal Payment Tax:
There will be an additional 4% tax added to the totally cost as per PayPal’s tax policy. If you want refund a 2 month ago payment, there will be a 4% transaction fee deducted from your refund money, it's by Paypal refund policy. within 2 month there will be no 4 % tax on your refund money. It's paypal's tax, nothing to do with CTT.

9. For Late Bookings: 
If you booking train tickets after China train tickets issuing date (20 days - 4 Days before your departure date, it depends on China Railway Bureau’s Order) we can’t not give you the guarantee about the train tickets, but we will try our best. If we can’t get the train tickets finally, we will refund your full payment and let you know. CTT will be not responsible for not get the tickets in the end. If the clients want to cancel the paid late bookings, he must inform us and confirm with us that we haven't get the tickets. If we haven't get the tickets, we will fully refund you the payment, if we have already get the tickets we can not refund nor change your tickets, but you can go to China Train Station to cancel it and get the 95% refund of the tickets face price before train departs. (95% refund is not CTT selling price, but the face price's. The lose will be on your own responsibility )

10. Cancellation Policy:
If CTT have not issued your train tickets (Usually it will be 20 - 12 Days ago before your departure date ), you can cancel at anytime and CTT will fully refund your payment. Cancellation made by clients within 7 days (168 hours) before departure time for final confirmed bookings, clients can not get any refund from us. since we have express delivered the tickets to your hotel and we can not get them back to cancel at train station in time, but you could get it and cancel at train station to get a 60% face price refund from the train authorities. The refund money will be going to our account first and you must let us know when the money come back we will refund the 60% face price money to your Paypal account. If you can not go to train station to cancel the tickets, we can send our guy to pick up it at your hotel and cancel it for you at train station, but it is USD 80 per time for the service. Service charge will be deducted from the refund. Cancellation made by clients out of 7 days (168 hours) for final confirmed bookings, the cancellation charge is 40% of CTT selling price, (Since our guys have to go to train stations to cancel your bookings ) you can get a 60% refund of the CTT selling price.Clients must provide the passport copies or scans for all passengers which are necessary to make the cancellation. If not provide above copies before 7 days, CTT can not refund any payment.

 

11: Change Policy:
If the clients want to change the departure date before issuing date, CTT will help to reissue the new tickets without receiving any charge. If passed the issuing date, tickets have been issued, you have to cancel the booking and issue a new one. So it's the same with cancellation policy. But CTT may not ensure you to get the new tickets, it depends on the train tickets status.

12. For Seats and Sleepers
Seat, Hard Sleeper, Soft Sleeper, Deluxe Cabin: Deluxe Cabins-2 person stay inside with 2 sleepers. Soft Sleeper - 4 person inside with 4 sleepers. Hard Sleeper - in one car without too much private. Seat divided by soft seat and hard seat. We provide tickets probably in same cabin, but can not ensure it. There will be the risk that clients maybe stay in the different car in some occasions like peak season of Chinese Spring Festival, National Day Holiday etc. If you select the alternative Trains and Seat category, we will change the train tickets for you automatically. Sleepers to Sleepers, Seats to Seats. And the trains time difference will be considered by our professional staff. If you select doesn’t accept any change of the seats and trains, we will not change it. We will try our best to buy all your sleepers in one car or one room but CTT can not ensure you on this issue. CTT can help you to write a note to Chinese attendant and they may change the tickets for you with others. 

13. Clients Responsibility for collect tickets from Hotels.
PLEASE NOTE: WE WILL EXPRESS DELIVERY THE TICKETS IN AN ENVELOPE TO YOUR HOTEL CONCIERGE OR FRONT DESK 6 DAYS AGO BEFORE THE TRAIN DEPARTURE DATE, USUALLY IT WILL TAKE AT MOST 3 DAYS ( 72 HOURS )TO ARRIVE YOUR HOTEL, BUT AT THAT TIME YOU HAEN'T CHECK IN, SO PLEASE DO ASK YOUR HOTEL FRONT DESK OR CONCIERGE TO COLLECT IT FOR YOU EVEN YOU HAVEN’T CHECKED IN ! 
SOME HOTEL (HOSTEL) WON'T TELL YOU THE EXPRESS HAS ARRIVED BUT JUST LEAVE THEM IN THE DRAWER OR SOMEWHERE ELSE. SO CHECK WITH THEM WHEN YOU CHECK IN !
PLEASE SHOW BELOW CHINESE WORDS TO THEM IF THEY SAID THEY CAN NOT FIND YOUR EXPRESS DELIVERY WHEN YOU CHECKED IN: 我要我的快递，前台（礼宾部）签收的！
IF YOU CHANGED YOUR HOTEL PLEASE INFORM US ASAP FOR WE CHANGE EXPRESS DELIVERY ACCORDINGLY. IF WITHIN 6 DAYS WE CAN NOT MAKE IT.
IF YOU WANT COLLECT THE TICKETS SOMEWHERE ELSE, PLEASE MAKE APPOINTMENT WITH US AT LEASE 7 DAYS BEFORE.
Statement:
If you give us the wrong hotel names or address or date;
If you changed hotel within 6 days we have sent out the mail;
The names you provided hotel can not find the reservation record;
The hotel front desk or concierge refuse sign and receive the express delivery for you;
All above are nothing to do with CTT and if caused tickets lost we can not refund your payment.

14. Children Tickets Policy
Domestic Children tickets Policy：
Domestic Children tickets standards: Children with 120-150 cm height need to buy the children tickets. Children with height under 120 cm can take the train free (sharing seats with parents). But every adult passenger could only take one child for this ticket free policy. For example, if you take two children, whose heights are both under 120 cm, ticket for one of them will be free but the other children need to buy the children tickets.
Domestic children ticket price: 60% of adult ticket price.

International train tickets Children tickets Policy：

Policy concerns on the following international train lines: 

Beijing to Moscow 
Beijing to Ulan-Bator 
Beijing to Phjongiang 
Nanning to Hanoi 
Urumqi to Alma-Ata

International children tickets standards: Children between 4 - 12 years old need to buy the international children tickets. If more than one child under 4 years old are taken on to the train, you can only get one child ticket free, and for other children you need to buy the children tickets.
International children ticket price: 70% of adult ticket price.
Policy concerns on the following international train lines: 
Beijing to Kowloon
International children tickets standards: Children between 4 - 10 years old need to buy the international children tickets. If more than one child under 4 years old are taken on to the train, you can only get one child ticket free, and for other children you need to buy the children tickets.
International children ticket price: 70% of adult ticket price.
Policy concerns on the following international train lines: 
Kowloon to Beijing Kowloon to Shanghai Kowloon to Guangzhou East
International children tickets standards: Children between 5- 9 years old need to buy the international children tickets. If more than one child under 5 years old are taken on to the train, you can only get one child ticket free, and for other children you need to buy the children tickets.
International children ticket price: 70% of adult ticket price.
