Destination: Xian, China

Activities: Private service for a full day tour, during which you will see Stele Museum, Shaanxi Provincial Museum, Big Wild Goose Pagoda, City Walls and the Bell Tower.

The Tour: On this full day city tour we will visit the Forest of Stele Museum. Stele are huge stone slabs which depict important calligraphic writing, often dating back to ancient times. We then go to Shaanxi Provincial Museum, an epitome of Shaanxi glamorous imperial past. After lunch continue to visit Big Wild Goose Pagoda, which is located within the premises of the Temple of Great Maternal Grace. It is a symbol of the city and is not only the most complete city wall that has survived in China, but is also one of the largest and most complete ancient military defense systems in the world. We visit the Bell Tower in Xi'an, a huge bell hanging on the roof of the tower which was traditionally used to tell the time by, situated in the very heart of the city and at the junction of four main roads.
